They've listed a bunch of features for the April 24th Patch:

Titan Tracking change....   (we new about this already)...
Loot table change...  T1 Modules will no longer drop as loot....
Drone Give Bounties instead of alloys now....
Incursion Rebalancing....  
Buff and Debuff Panel....  A new panel to show how the EWAR on you is altering your ship...
New Avatar Skin colors....


I'm curious when the Skill Tree changes are coming, but it doesn't appear to be listed among the changes... yet...

As always, CCP will probably add/change some of this..

The skill tree changes are easy enough to nerf-proof yourself for - Destroyers 5, Battlecruisers 5, all racial cruisers at or above L3. Well that is what the fount of all knowledge (Tippia) says. She's usually right.

I guess the residents of the drone regions will have to find somewhere else to bot RMT play. That is if there's any of them left after Sreegs is done with his RMT purge.

if you can mine something that refines into nocx you'll be alright, it's just doubled in price since the first, going from 530ish per unit to 1000+ (thought it was an April fool thing but seems permanent).

also if t1 modules no longer drop as loot, expect prices to rise there and eventually raise the price of t2 module production and end user cost.

Almost seems like an indirect industry boost...mining is profitable, t1 manufacture might make money, I wonder what else will slip in?

Yep. Meta 1-4 will still drop.

Rule of thumb is that if a BPO exists for an item then it won't drop in loot.

They should do so. There is even less reason to allow meta 0 ammo drops than there is for meta 0 modules.

Seriously - if they aren't doing this then someone with a batphone needs to give them a prod in the right direction.

The intent (AIUI) is that nothing with a BPO should drop in loot. Ammo is right up there on refining for minerals.....

Mineral prices have already just about doubled, and many t1 ships have gone up in price significantly (abaddons are now 240mil - a couple of months ago they were around 160). A large part of this will be speculation, and traders trying to make a profit - I expect prices will come back down a bit after the patch (but still stay much higher than previous levels).

Expect mining to become much more profitable, at least in the short term - apparently mining Arkonor (a nullsec/WH ore) is already worth about 50mil an hour, and going up.

Rumor has it that Research Points for Datacores is about to significantly change....  There was even mention of moving to a datacores for FW LP only... or some such craziness....  I'm looking for the source of this rumor...

From fanfest: They're planning to double the price of datacores from R&D agents (i.e. halve production), and add them to FW LP stores.

Of course, plans could have changed since then. They didn't say when this was likely to happen, but I'd guess with the FW iteration in inferno.

I hope that the higher ship prices will stay a little. While it sucks that casual solo pvp just got like 200% more expensive maybe it will force people to also leave their shinnies in the hanger and take out some T1 hulls. Instead of the T2/faction ship parade you see now everywhere.

Probably wishful thinking though
