Summary: Privateers acting on behalf of the Amarr Empire.
Rules of Engagement: NRDS
Recruitment: currently by invite only.
Diplomatic Contacts: Inquisitor Lazar, Saint Saleha
Public Chat Channel: W.PAC Pub
History:
YC 113: Through a series of careful maneuvers within various institutions of the Amarr Empire, Captain Cornelius Lazar was granted the permission to form a special operations forces unit, code name Wolfpack.
He gradually phases in hand-picked capsuleers - Most are misfits, but all are consummate professionals with the skills needed to carry out the unit's assignment.
Designed as a self-sufficient, highly flexible response force, the Wolfpack does not fit in with any traditional engagement style of the existing imperial fleet and was thus given tremendous independence.
This suited Captain Lazar fine as he quickly turned the Wolfpack into essentially officially-recognized privateers, authorized to pick targets and lead attacks as he sees fit.
Since the Wolfpack operates outside the military chain of command, it has a bad record among the more conservative corporations within the Empire, including the Imperial Navy and the Ministry of War.
Their unconventional, wayward ways gave the unit its well-earned moniker, the Wolfpack Corsairs, which - much to the dismay of those responsible - was embraced by Lazar and used as the corporation's name henceforth.
